About

Bratton Clovelly Festival is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation aimed at promoting music and art in the parish of Bratton Clovelly and surrounding areas. The Bratton Clovelly Festival team consists of a group of local people enthusiastic about our wonderful rural location, about music and art of all kinds and with an ambition to bring these all together, making the most of our great venues.

There’s a rolling programme of events throughout the year, including classical, folk, world music, jazz and interesting fusions, as well as art exhibitions, food events and a Ceilidh – see Events page for upcoming events. There are also sponsored events for children and young people, made possible through the generosity of local trusts. All these events are managed and supported by local volunteers and many are offered and underwritten by members of our community.

In 2017, the programme features high profile performers from across the country, but with the emphasis still on the considerable talent here in the South West. The music programme ranges from early music to jazz and classical and includes vocal and instrumental ensembles. The art programme draws on both historic and contemporary art, hosted in a variety of unique local houses and gardens. We’re confident that there’s something for everyone.
